Vall\u00e9s<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Vall\u00e9s<\/strong> is a small municipality located on the left bank of the C\u00e0nyoles<\/em> river. Very close to the Vall\u00e9s mill and the Mesos weir, the area is watered by the Ranes canal, which dates back to at least the 10th century. Vall\u00e9s is documented in the 14th century as the Jaume Vall\u00e9s farmhouse. It had 18 houses when the knight from X\u00e0tiva, Bernat San\u00e7<\/em>, repopulated it with old Christians in 1609.<\/p>

In Vall\u00e9s is the Palau dels San\u00e7<\/em><\/strong><\/a> (Palace of the San\u00e7 family), one of the architectural jewels of the Valencian Civil Gothic of the 15th century. It is located at one end of the Pla\u00e7a Major<\/em>, very close to the C\u00e0nyoles river, from where we can enjoy magnificent views of the Vernissa<\/em> mountain and the city of X\u00e0tiva.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The original nucleus is the result of the destruction of Moorish urbanism, replaced by the austere church of <\/strong>Sant Joan Baptista<\/b><\/em> from the 17th century. Around the temple are the oldest streets: Carrer de Santa Teresa<\/em>, Carrer de la Pilota<\/em> and Pla\u00e7a de la Vila<\/em>. This rectangle closes to the northeast the Palau de San\u00e7<\/em> and in front the newly built public laundry.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
